Fender Classic 72 Telecaster Thinline Description:

With several new designs, the Telecaster guitar was available with more options than ever before. The '72 Tele Thinline features a warmer and rounder, semi-hollow alder or ash body (depending on finish), "C"-shape maple neck, Bullet truss rod, '70s vintage hardtail strings-through Strat® bridge, three-bolt neckplate, and two Fender® "Wide Range" humbucking pickups.

1972 was a magical year for the Telecaster® guitar. With several new designs, the Telecaster guitar was available with more options than ever before. Each of these guitars are being made like we used to, with alder and ash bodies, "C"-shape maple necks, bullet truss rods, '70s vintage hard-tail strings-thru Strat® bridges and three-bolt neckplates. The Thinline also sports dual humbucking pickups, but what sets it apart is its semi-hollow ash body, which has a warmer and rounder sound. The Thinline is available in Three-color Sunburst (300) and Natural (321).
